Hello Everyone!
It’s an exciting time for all of the young people in our community - back to school, 2023! Study hard, be kind, listen with purpose, and most of all… have fun!! This year my daughter Sailor is a junior (what?!) in college at Montclair Sate University, and my Emerald Ridge High nephew is a senior - time flies when you're watching kids grow!!
As for me, I’m loving these cooler mornings and sunny afternoons and the salmon are right on schedule this year as we roll into autumn. The sockeye season is complete, (Bristol Bay sockeye, frozen at peak quality, will be available in a few weeks...), and the returning kings are moving into the rivers in full force. This means it’s silver salmon time! This year has been a great year for silvers and this latest catch is nice and fat being caught with full bellies of herring and baby sablefish right out of Westport. Read on for all of the details about our special this week!

We’ve got a bit of an exciting update about our new space in Tumwater. No firm opening date yet, but things are getting very, very, close! We turned on the ice machine this morning, and… we have ice! I never thought a little pile of ice would nearly bring me to tears of joy, but wow, it feels like it’s been a long time coming. If all goes well (knock on wood!!!) it looks like perhaps next weekend? The new shop is SO BEAUTIFUL. Stay tuned for more accuracy as we navigate our final inspections and keep all our fingers and toes crossed for the hand railings to be installed on the sidewalks and the steps of the building. Almost! Our friends at Finnriver and Sweetlee's will be opening their doors at the same time so it's bound to be a party!

And the seafood party is always in swing at our OG downtown Olympia location...we love our little shop on the water! Here's our full list of anticipated offerings - please let us know if we can help you with anything set aside! 360 570 8816
