It was good. Not great but not bad. Didn't love their béchamel sauce but maybe that's just me. Their brisket was NOT brisket in the true sense.
I would eat there again but have something different. Their biscuits are wonderful and you also get cornbread.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 18, 2024
Yes. I cannot stop coming to Hash early...before the crazy rush...to get my chicken fried steak and eggs. This is the best chicken fried steak in the land and I might just make a website to declare this.
Walk in...and you are greeted by the most giant cinnamon roll ever. It's meant for Sasquatch and you need a few friends to eat it. PRO TIP: take it home and don't even try to eat it there. The crew here at hash rocks it like no other and moves the masses of diners through this quaint little spot.
The word HASH adorns the wall and I make sure I always come extra baked so as to enjoy the flavors they have put together for me.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 2091322884Dec 8, 2023
There is a reason almost everyone I know raves about this restaurant. We arrived right before it opened and there was already line forming. We were brought in promptly at opening and greeted.
The server was very business like - no warm and fuzzy diner friendly service here but he was efficient and got the job done.
There were sooooooo many options to choose from. All creative and with interesting spins to them. This isn't your normal average diner. This menu is KICKED UP with lots of amazing choices. I decided on beer cheese benedict and it did not disappoint. The flavors were incredible. Each bite was a foodgasm in my mouth.
The portions were plentiful and you could tell the ingredients were quality ingredients.
The prices are on the high end for breakfast.
Restaurant was clean. On street parking can be difficult.
Extremely pleased that I finally got to try this place out. I will be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - May 3, 2024
It was a random Tuesday, cold and blustery and a day off for me so I decided to go out.. in shorts and although there were a few open tables, I had a 20 plus minute wait which even my darling waitress said was unusual .. I got the chicken fried steak which was a plain and previously frozen as any of your neighborhood breakfast joints but the difference was Marionberry Butter on a corn muffin,... Yes, you heard that right.. I could have stopped there and had a 4 star breakfast but the home fries came with sautéed apples, garlic and onions which also turned out to be a high point of this incredibly regular dish, the gravy turned out to be pretty tasty too.. if only I could have boxed that waitress up and taken her home.. had a great time

Another lovely trip to Hash. We went a little later in the morning and had no wait at all, efficient service, and amazing food. This is the only time I've been that I didn't have to wait like 40 minutes haha! Go super early and get on the waitlist or go late to avoid the wait. Quiet morning and peaceful dining.

The wait was worth it. I signed in at number 7 and waited about 20 minutes. Waiting another 35 minutes after ordering but, again, worth it because the food was great.
Owners: please don't take this negatively, but my server was great. The only issue I had was when I walked up to the host/bust boy and said hello. He wore a black shirt, tan shorts, and blue cap (5/11/24 at 11). He was very rude. I said my name name and he pointed to a corner and there "there" like I was a dog. Now, I'd driven past your place for a year, not realizing it was a restaurant
When I discovered it was, I immediately looked up the menu and realized I wanted to eventually try everything on the menu. I make good money and can afford to come every weekend.
Please talk to your staff because no paying customer deserves to be treated like a number.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 23, 2023
This is a great place for breakfast! Six of us ate here on a late Sunday.
The pros: delicious food, big servings, friendly staff, nice location, awesome menu.
The cons: it was warm and stuffy. They opened the front door and that helped.
Folks, the cornbread breakfast loaf with strawberry butter is a fucking treat. Holy hell make sure you get it! It might be included with an entree.
Go here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - ParisAnne D.Westport, WA4919932Nov 17, 2023
Why god why do so many restaurants feel the need to have such big servings. Like, hey, let's make the most enormous pancake that feeds a table of people. What? You only have one or two people eating, didn't you want breakfast leftovers for the next two days? No, I just honestly wanted one single pancake. In their desire to make such an enormous thing it ends up a little... I don't know if dry is the right word, but it's lacking a bit. By no means bad but also just so so.
That being said the ambience was nice, staff were friendly and the hash was great. I'd go back for that again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Ellison B.Corona, CA059Feb 17, 2024
Good portion and weekly specials. I got the monte python brisket, cheese curds, over egg with breakfast potatoes. Good friendly service. Open space with music in the background. Recommend to get early to avoid wait.

This has been the best meal we've had in the first 3 days of our trip through the PNW. My husband got the brisket hash and a biscuit with bacon gravy. He hasn't stopped talking about it. I had the veggie burrito and it was the BEST breakfast burrito I've had IN MY LIFE and I live in AZ and we have lots of breakfast burritos. I wasn't sure about the basil hollandaise but it really pulled the burrito together. I was so surprised to find such a gem! The staff was super friendly and everything was reasonably priced. My husband said he would move to Olympia to be able to eat at Hash a couple times a week.
