This past couple of months have been the most financially stressful situation I've ever been in. Tawni Nipas of the Olympia branch went above and beyond to help get us what we needed. She listened to me cry and walked me through every step, she kept me informed and kept me encouraged. She even gave me a Starbucks gift card to go treat myself to a coffee! Keeping customers happy means being responsive to their needs and wants. Tawni's service was all that and more. My husband and I are so happy with this Branch they are so helpful especially Pam! My husband convinced me although it did not take much convincing considering I was not having a good time at my other bank to switch to home street. Pam helped us set up our account and was fast friendly and knowledgeable I'm so excited to be with HomeStreet now!

HomeStreet Bank was recommended to us by our realtor when we were buying a house. I am skeptical of all banks (credit unions excepted), but HomeStreet has been really great. Their rates on mortgages were very good, and the people were very friendly and down to earth - it never felt like we were a number. In addition, they keep something like 95% of their mortgages and don't sell them off to some other major company, so we have a good chance of always being able to walk into the same branch and get a live person for the next 30 years of our loan!

I have been with many banks throughout my life time and never been happy with them. The bigger banks treat you like you're just another customer with no personal attention what so ever. I've been with HomeStreet Bank for 3 years and I'll stay with them forever. The service is personal. They know who you are as soon as you come in a welcome you like a fried. I've never has an unexpected fee or any other issues. They make up for only having 1 local branch by reimbursing ATM fees if you go to another banks ATM. I appreciate the small local feel and the friendly personal customer service. HomeStreet has my loyalty.

Arle Seaton is literally a lender sent straight from the Gods who had mercy on our poor souls. He is a wonderful human who works way too hard and treats every loan equally. With love. And he always has your best interest at heart. I would sign a document blindly even if it had the seal of satan on it if he told me to. No but for real if you are buying a house, don't do it without Arle.

Loan staff is friendly but not knowledgable. Teri kept having to get Shelli to help her navigate through my stuff, which sure they are a "team". But anyway, things were going smooth, only 2 weeks to closing date on our home, then all of a sudden there was in issue with our W-2 which we had brought it to her attention back when we 1st applied for the loan. We had nothing to hide, they had our information for over a month. 1st day of the loan denial we were heartbroken, invested $450 for the inspection & that's $450 that we won't be getting back. Made cancellations & arrangements for insurance to save & bundle. We could've saved time, money & my realtors time & effort if Teri would've taken the seriousness of our issue & given us the denial from the beginning before we all had invested into the purchase of the home. I will not be returning to Teri in Homestreet of Olympia for the lack of you knowledge.
